This apartment was inspired by our clients love of mid-century furniture and sci-fi. The apartment is also fully wheelchair accessible, to support his lifestyle requirements.

Accessible Design Features

We designed this apartment to give our client as much independence as possible.

This included:

  • Voice automated lights and window dressings: our client has limited dexterity in his hands, so voice automated controls were much easier for him to use.

  • A smooth floor, so that it feels gentle when our client rolls over the parquet in his wheelchair.

  • Acoustic barriers, such as the heavy wool curtains acting as room dividers, which gave our client privacy from his support team.
